Where it all began...
Roman Tomanov was born inside a circus family. His coach was his father, Valery Tomanov, who taught Roman and his four siblings the art of aerial straps.
Brother Vitaly Tomanov performs with Roman in Cirque du Soleil's KURIOS. Sister Marina Tomanova performs in Zumanity. Twin sisters Nika and Lera Tomanov (age 9) appeared in Cirque du Soleil's One Drop and America's Got Talent.
Rock n' Roll
Roman still considers this video "the most embarrassing performance". At age 6, Roman recorded this Rock n' Roll straps video for talent agencies. Roman's performance was considered "too serious", so his dad suggested that he incorporates dancing in his act.
Monte Carlo Premiere
At the age of 9, Roman won his first prestigious "Silver Clown Award" at the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo.
